Tuticorin, November 21, 2015: With the mission of providing best opportunities to School Under the C2C (Copper To Community) initiative, Sterlite Copper joined hands with the community members of T.Saveriarpuram (Chinna Goa) in construction of an Open Auditorium in the RC Primary School and St. Xavier High School situated therein catering to the educational need of the poor and underprivileged children of T.Saveriarpuram and surrounding areas.

Mr D Dhanavel, Head – Commercial, Asset Optimization & Sustaining Projects, Sterlite Copper formally inaugurated the auditorium and dedicated it to the school on 20.11.2015 in the presence of T. Saveriarpuram Parish Priest Rev. Fr. George Oliban, Mr M Kumaravendhan, Chief Sustainability Officer & Dr R Kailasam, Head – CSR & Chief Medical Officer of Sterlite Copper, Community Elites, School Management, Children and Public.

They appreciated and lauded the multi-focused development initiatives of Sterlite Copper. Rev. Fr. George Oliban, Parish Priest of T.Saveriarpuram, conferred ’The Best Social Service Award’ of the year of the Parish on Sterlite Copper for taking up various social development programmes in and around Thoothukudi.
