Thoothukudi, 1 Dec 2017:Sterlite Copper has been awarded First Prize under the category of “Industrial Water Use Efficiency” at National Competition for Excellence in Water Management 2017 organized by FICCI.

FICCI has conducted this event that include the evaluation of questionnaire and presentation to the Jury panel. Mr K Sridhar and Mr J Muhundan presented the case studies before the jury on behalf of M/s Sterlite Copper at Delhi.

Mr Deepanraj and Mr G MuthuKumaran received the award on behalf of Sterlite copper. The award was presented by Dr Amarjit Pal Singh, Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, GOI, and Mr Parameswaran Iyer, Secretary (DWS), Ministry of Drinking Water & Sanitation, GOI during the award ceremony held on the 3rd Edition of India Industry Water Conclave and 5th Edition of FICCI Water Awards on November 28, 2017 at FICCI, Federation House, Tansen Marg, New Delhi.
