Sterlite Copper bags ‘Procurement Excellence Award’.

Sterlite Copper, a unit of Vedanta Ltd was declared as the winner of ‘5 the Procurement Excellence Awards’ for the year 2017 under the category “Sectoral Procurement Excellence – Metals & Mining”, by the Advisory Council Members – Conceived & Managed by Kamikaze B2B Media.

The Award presented as part of the 11th Express, Logistics & Supply Chain Conclave and 5th Procurement Strategy Summit at Taj Lands End, Mumbai. The selection of awards were based on case studies and presentations that clearly highlight and represent the ethos of Outperformance in Overall Procurement Excellence.

Procurement Excellence Awards provide a time and a place for the Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Industry Executives to celebrate outstanding sector achievements. It constituted to identify and reward companies who have demonstrated unparalleled ability to succeed and have continually set standards of excellence.

Major awardees for Procurement include Arvind Lifestyle, Volvo, ACC Ltd, L&T Hydrocarbon, Tanishq, HUL, Indus Towers in various sectors. Other categories including supply chain innovation had IOCL, Nissan, Raymond, Hindalco, Sterlite Technologies as awardees.
