Sterlite Copper Extends Support to ICCI for construction of Trade Convention Center in Thoothukudi.

Thoothukudi, October 21: Toady, Sterlite Copper, has presented Rs. 15 lakhs towards the construction of Trade Convention Center by Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Thoothukudi. Mr. C. Murugeswaran, Head – PR and Projects, Sterlite Copper handed over the cheque to Mr. Edwin Samuel, Vice President, Mr. C. N Dharmaraj, Treasurer and Mr. Ponvenkatesh, Joint Secretary, ICCI Thoothukudi in presence of Mr. M. Essakkiappan, Head – PR, Sterlite Copper.

ICCI is a 93 years old chamber, which is affiliated to FICCI, is building Trade Convention center to bring in world class infrastructure facility in Thoothukudi. Sterlite Copper which has initiated programs for the development of Thoothukudi Industrial region is supporting for construction of Trade Convention Center, which is unique to Thoothukudi and will catalize engagement of the Industries and trade with their vendors, associates, overseas clients in an ambience befitting the needs of the business.

While releasing the amount Mr. C. Murugeswaran said that “Sterlite Copper will be always there in first to make contribution towards the development of Thoothukudi. Company has much more planning for the development of the region that will result in social and economic development.
