Thoothukudi, 7 April 2017: Sterlite Copper a pioneer in Corporate Social Responsibility in Tamilnadu is initiating various programs under the focus areas like Education, Health, Childcare, Women Empowerment, Livelihood, Agriculture, and Infrastructure Development. As part of Livelihood development initiative, Sterlite Copper has initiated Project Tamira Muthukkal (A Skill Development program for youth) for helping the youth to enhance their livelihood through technical skills in association with IL&FS.

Today, Sterlite Copper has organised a function to distribute the certificates to 140 trainees who have successfully completed their vocational training courses in Computer – Tally, Electrician, Sewing Machine Operation, Welding, Forklift operation.

Mr. B. Senthil Arumugam, NANSEI NGO, Ms. Divya Brightlin, Executive –Director, DSF – Grand Plaza; Mr. Paresh Gajjar, Head Administration, Sterlite Copper, Mr. B. Subburaj, Properitor, Subha Graphics and Ms. Jerlin Dhinakaran, Proprietor, Vinston Agencies were distributed certificates for the trainees in presence of Dr. Kailasam, Head – CSR, Sterlite Copper and Mr. K. M. Rajan, VP & Regional Head of IL&FS.
