Valedation & Prize Distribution of Sterlite Copper Intra District School Level Swimming Meet.

Thoothukudi, November 28, 2016: Sterlite Copper Intra District School Level Swimming Meet organised in association with Tuticorin District Aquatic Association was held on 27.11.2016 at the Vikasa Swimming Pool, Sawyerpuram, Tuticorin. The Tamil Nadu State Non – Medallist Swimming Meet was held for non-medallists from all the districts of Tamil Nadu other than Chennai. 135 boys and 81 girls from 39 schools participated.

Mr.M.Viswanadhan, Head – Asset Optimization, Business Excellence & Cental Engineering Planning, Sterlite Copper, Tuticorin who was the Guest of Honour addressed the gathering. Mr.T.Velsankar, President, Tuticorin District Aquatic Association welcomed the gathering Mr.Srinivasan, Senior Manager, Union Bank of India, Madurai gave away the prizes. Dr.N.K.Charles, Organizing Secretary Tuticorin District Aquatic Association proposed the vote of thanks.

Overall Championship Trophy- The STERLITE TROPHY won by by Vikasa School, Thoothukudi.
