Smart classroom technology installed in Rajavinkovil TNDTA primary school in Thoothukudi

  • In smart classroom, a smart board is installed in the classroom, where the subjects are taught by projecting content on a screen.
  • The technology is set to benefit more than 250 students.
  •  The company has provided scholarships to 10,776 students through the Sterlite Education Scheme for students.

21st December 2021, Thoothukudi: We see children as future innovators and a key resource in nation building. Sterlite Copper sponsored smart classroom accessories at Rajavinkovil TNDTA primary school in Thoothukudi to equip students with advanced academic learning. The prime intention of this initiative is to empower the students of Thoothukudi.

Ms. Prabha Hepzi, Vice President, Village Panchayat inaugurated the event.

By using smart classroom technology and interactive whiteboards, information can be illustrated with the help of photos, maps, graphs, flowcharts, and animated videos. This makes learning more attractive, interesting, and easy to understand. It encourages the ability of students to learn and memorize the topic for a prolonged time.
The technology is set to benefit more than 250 students. Villagers and stakeholders from nearby villages participated in the event.

Also, under Sterlite Copper’s flagship initiative Muthucharam, Tamira Vidhyalayam aims to support the academic aspirations of the youth and nurture future leaders through quality education and scholarship distribution. The students have been given scholarships and are encouraged to pursue their education. A total of 20,000 families will benefit through this initiative.

We look forward to bringing the best-in-class technologies of the world to our student community in Thoothukudi through our various community initiatives for the betterment of the future generations of this city.”
